Jamia Millia Islamia 2013 Admissions: Distance Mode

Applications have been invited for various graduate, postgraduate and diploma courses from eligible students who want to pursue a distance education course in Jamia Millia Islamia College for the academic session 2013-14.

  7. Bachelor of Arts General and Business Studies (BAG/BBS)
  8. Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.)
  9. Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance and Counselling (PGDGC)
  10. Post Graduate Diploma in Diploma in Geo Informatics (PGDGI)
  11. Diploma in Electrical Engineering (DEE)
  12. Diploma in Power Generation Engineering (DPGE)
  13. Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (DECCE)
  14. Certificate in Computer Hardware and Network Technology (CCHNT)/Certificate in Computer and Information Technology (CCIT)

Important dates

  • Application forms available at the college: 15 June, 2013

Applications can be collected from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on all working days from Maktaba Jamia Ltd, Near old SRK Building, Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi by paying a sum of either Rs. 300 or Rs. 500 as per subject. Forms can also be collected by post by sending an additional amount of Rs. 100 for postal charges.

Forms can be downloaded from www.jmi.ac.in and requisite amount paid by demand draft favouring Jamia Millia Islamia, payable at New Delhi.

Last date to apply for:

  • Post graduate (master's) programs: 11 September, 2013
  • Graduate programs: 12 September, 2013
  • Post graduate diploma, diploma and certificate programs: 20 September, 2013
  • Bachelor of Education: 13 August, 2013
  • DEE/DPGE: 19 August, 2013

Eligibility criteria

M.Ed

  • Bachelor's degree with 45 percent marks from a recognised university

B.Ed.

  • A working teacher with minimum 50 percent marks in graduation from a recognised university
  • Two years full-time teaching experience in primary or secondary standard in a school recognised by the state or central government

MAE/MAS/MHD/MAH

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognised university

MHRM

  • 45 percent marks in bachelor's degree from any recognised university
  • Bachelor's degree with two years of full-time experience in an associated field

MAPA/MAPS

  • Bachelor's degree from any recognised university

M.Com.

  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Banking and Insurance (BBI) or Bachelor of International Business and Finance (BIBF) from a recognised university in India

BAG/BBS

  • 10+2 degree or its equivalent in any discipline

B.Com./BIBF

  • 10+2 or its equivalent from a recognised board

PGDGC

  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 50 percent marks
  • Bachelor's degree with minimum 45 percent marks and master's degree with minimum 50 percent marks
  • Bachelor's degree with two years full time teaching experience in related field

PGDGI

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline with 45 percent marks

DDE

  • 45 percent marks in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) from recognised board with PCM, two years degree in electrician technician
  • Minimum two years of work experience in related field after passing out SSC with 40 percent marks

DPGE

  • SSC and ITI or equivalent certificate
  • Two years of working experience in a related field
  • SSC with maths, physics and chemistry

DECCE

  • 10+2 or its equivalent from recognised board

CCHNT/CCIT

  • 10+2 from recognised board
