Applications are invited for admission to Post Graduate Courses in Ayurveda


The candidate must be an Indian National.

The candidate possessing any of the qualification mentioned in the second schedule appended to the Central Council of Indian Medicine Act,48 of 1970 and are covered under Parts “A”,”A-1”,”B”,”C” Schedule appended to Maharashtra Medical Practitioners Act,1961 and passed the qualifying examination from the state of Maharashtra (except for Out of State Category) and have completed one year rotatory internship before the commencement of first round of counseling are only eligible.

Candidate must obtained minimum 50% or more marks in PGA-CET 2010 and 40% in case of constitutional reservation.

The candidate must produce the proof of Registration of M.C.I.M at the time of Counseling.

A candidate will not be eligible to appear for PGA-CET for 3 years if he/she has cancelled his/her earlier registration after the cut-off- date. All candidates will have to give an undertaking to this effect as per ANNEXURE- G.

Eligibility for Out of State Candidates-

(a) Candidate must be an Indian National. Nationality Certificate issued by appropriate authority or Candidates valid passport.

(b) A candidate should have passed final B.A.M.S. degree from a recognized Ayurved college included in the schedule to the Central Council of Indian Medicine Act, 1970.

(c)The C.C.I.M./M.C.I.M. registration is a condition for admission to Postgraduate Ayurved courses. The candidate must produced the proof of application to Maharashtra Council of Indian Medicine (MCIM) at the time of Counseling. However, if the candidate fails to produce the Registration Certificate within the period of 90 days, his/her selection will automatically stand cancelled.

How To Apply

Information Brochure along with blank Application Form will be available for purchase at all Notified offices/Designated Authority on payment of Rs. 500/- (Rs. five Hundred only) in the form of Demand Draft drawn on a Nationalised Bank in favor of “Director, Directorate of Ayurveda, Maharashtra State, Mumbai”, payable at Mumbai.

The fees for PG-AYU Common Entrance Test will be Rs. 1500/- (One thousand five hundred only) which shall be paid by a Demand Draft drawn in Nationalised Bank in favor of “Director, Directorate of Ayurveda, Maharashtra State, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai at the time of submission of application form.
