Doctoral Program in Architecture and Planning

Master in Architecture (Urban Design)

Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning)

Eligibility

For Doctoral Program: Master degree in Architecture / Planning or equivalent degree with a good academic record.

For Master in Architecture (Urban Design): B.Arch. with 55% marks in aggregate.

For Master in Planning (Urban and Regional Planning):

55% marks in aggregate in any one of the following disciplines:

1. B. Arch/ B.Plan.
2. B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering
3. M.Sc./M.A. in (Geography/Economics/Sociology)

How To Apply

Application Forms along with information brochure are available on cash payment of Rs. 100/- The application forms can also be downloaded from the website of School of Planning and Architecture, Bhopal (www.spabhopal.ac.in ).

Completed application form should be accompanied by a DD of Rs.1000/- drawn on a nationalized bank in favor of Director, SPA Bhopal, payable at Bhopal.

The Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Physically handicapped candidates are required to send a DD of Rs. 500/-.

Note

Fellowships for Master’s Program:

1. All candidates with valid GATE/NET score will be eligible for Fellowship as per G.O.I. norms.

2. Candidates without GATE/NET score will be eligible to apply for Institute Fellowship / Research assistantship available from time to time.

Fellowship for Doctoral Program:

1. The School has provision for Doctoral Fellowships for full time candidates.

2. To be considered for fellowship a candidate should have, a valid GATE score or Govt./Non-Govt Fellowship /Scholarship.

3. Candidates not having a valid GATE score or Govt. / Non -Govt. Fellowship / Scholarship can be considered for award of fellowship if they have minimum of two years of work experience.
