Programms of Study

Duration	Full time course of three years leading to a Post -Graduate Diploma In Cinema
Course Structure	Integrated Course in 1st Year - 42 weeks Duration [common for all students] Specialisation Programme in 2nd and 3rd year - 84 weeks Duration
Specialisations Offered	1. Direction & Screenplay 2. Cinematography 3. Audiography 4. Editing
No. of Students	Maximum 40 students per batch i.e. 8+2students* per specialisation
Course Content	Classroom Lectures, Practical Exercises, Film Screenings, Interactions with Professionals
Assessment	Attendance Practical Sessionals / Written Examinations Exercises Projects
Mode Of Assessment	Continuous
Medium Of Instruction	ENGLISH

Course Structure

1st Year	Project : Continuity Exercise (16mm) Course Content : Classroom Lectures, Practical/Structured exercises, Film Screenings;
2nd Year	Workshops Projects : Documentary (electronic) & Mise-en-scene Exercise (16/35mm studio based) Course Content : Classroom Lectures, Practical/Structured exercises, Film Screenings, Interactions with Professionals, Workshops
3rd Year	Projects : Playback Exercise (Cinemascope) Diploma Film (35mm) Course Content : Workshop
Students' planning/writing/preparation/ for the projects/exercises are required to be done beyond the routine hours also as a part of fulltime engagement Workshops/projects/exercises take place beyond routine hours Iiintodd/extended hours
