National Talent Search Examination Scholarship
The NCERT financially assist brilliant students for pursuing higher studies (upto doctorate level) through the scholarship route. The scholarships are awarded to those students who do well in the National Talent Search Examination conducted by it every year. A student of Xstd or above is eligible to take the exam. The total number of scholarships is 1000. Out of which, 150 are meant for schedule caste students and 75 goes to those who are schedule tribes.

The examination comprises of two papers-Mental Ability Test and Scholastic Aptitude test in order to judge the students mental ability and aptitude. Each paper has 100 multiple choice questions which carries 1 mark each. |  |  |
