Career In Fashion Designing & Fashion Technology

Fashion design and technology
Fashion Designing and Fashion Technology/Apparel Production are two most exciting and sought after courses after Class 12. Though Fashion Designing is the popular of the two courses, a degree in fashion technology or garment production is fast gaining popularity.

You are interested in a career in fashion designing, but you feel the field is a little too saturated and you wish to explore career opportunities related to fashion designing but maybe not exactly fashion designing, then you must explore a course in Fashion Technology.

Fashion Technology

Technical and creative prowess are paramount for the Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B. F. Tech), a course offered in very few Indian Institutes. These include the Pearl Academy (Garment manufacturing at the post-graduate level), National Institute of Fashion Technology (a four year B. F. Tech in Apparel Production). Training provided covers some groundwork in IT in addition to training in garment manufacture.

Largely practical and hands on, the course preps graduates so that they can expect to be picked up for the post of production managers or assistant product managers by fashion houses or garment manufacturers directly.
