Introduction





The Union Public Service Commission conducts the entrance examination for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner at regular intervals (usually once in every three years).It is a Class I post under the Employees’ Provident Fund Organization.

Eligibility

(a) Age - Minimum of 21 years and Maximum of 35 years.

b) Educational Qualifications – Degree in Graduation from any of the recognized Universities of India in any discipline.

Skills and Attributes: An excellent command over English, Mathematics in addition to General ability with respect to the general awareness level of the candidate.

Recruitment Procedure: The recruitment process involves two stages. The First stage comprises of a written examination carrying multiple choice question. In all there about 100 questions ranging about 100 questions. After the clearance of written examination there is an interview cum personality test.

To have complete information of the following:

A - Nature of Exam (Composition and standards of question, duration of exam)

B - Previous year question paper

C - Syllabus

Job prospects


After clearing the personality test the name of the candidate is referred to the President of India. The successful candidate is then appointed as Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner in the pay- scale of Rs.8000-12500 per month. After recruitment as an Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner the candidate gets high growth chances in a very short span of time. In course of time he gets promoted to the Regional Provident Fund Commissioner thereafter to Dy. Director, Director, Add. Chief Provident Fund Commissioner to the head of the organization known as the Chief Provident Fund Commissioner.
