NDA NA (II) Application Process 2018
Only online application is available for the NDA NA exam by UPSC. You need to apply online on www.upsconline.com for the National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (II) 2018 to be held on 9 September, 2017. Details about admit card also given:
Applicants have to pay an application fees of Rs.100 for the NDA NA exam to be conducted by the UPSC. Candidates from the Scheduled Tribe/Scheduled Caste/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/Ors are exempted from the application fee. There is no fee exemption for OBC candidates.

Mode of Payment
The fees can be paid in cash at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) or by using the Net Banking Facility. Regional banks of SBI have merged into one, single SBI and the payment needs to be done there itself.
Payment can be made via Visa Card, Master Credit Card, or Debit Card.
All candidates cam apply online through the official UPSC website, www.upsconline.nic.in, and fill the application form before 5 February, 2018. The forms will be available from 10 January, 2018 onwards until the last date of 5 February, 2018. Detailed instructions regarding this are available on the website and in Appendix-II of the Notification.
The photograph and signature should be scanned in .JPEG format. The file size should not exceed 40 KB. The photograph's size should not be less than 3 KB, and the signature's size should not be less than 1 KB.
The application should be submitted in two parts, Part I Registration, and Part II Registration.
If the applicant chooses to pay in cash using the 'Pay By Cash' mode, the system-generated Pay-in-Slip should be printed during Part-II of the registration procedure and the fee must be deposited at any branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) only on the next working day.
The 'Pay by Cash' mode will only be available till 11:59 PM on 1 July, 2018, so that bank payments are completed by 2 July, 2018.
While filling in the online application form, the candidate has to specify which Service he prefers, and can choose as many as he wishes to, in the order of preference from 1 to 4. According to his rank in the merit list, candidate preferences will be considered while making appointments.
No additions or alterations can be made in the preferences once it is submitted, and candidates will be given consideration only for the services chosen and ranked by the candidate.
Candidates must be able to provide their valid and active email id as the Commission may use electronic mail for the purpose of contacting the candidate.
Each candidate can only submit one application form, but however, if in the case of an unavoidable situation, candidates can submit another application with a higher Registration ID (RID) number, and this new form must be complete in all respects as only the new form will be considered and accepted.
How to Apply
- Log on to the official website at www.upsconline.nic.in
- Click on 'Online Application' and fill in Part I Online of the Application form.
- Fill in the required details and make the payment, or choose the option for payment.
- Revisit www.upsconline.nic.in and select Part II of the registration.
- Fill in the details.
- Upload the scanned photograph.
- Upload the scanned signature.
- Click on the 'Submit' button, and complete the process of registration.
- A system-generated application form will be created with a unique Registration ID (RID).
- Take a print out of this application form.
e-Admission Certificate (NDA NA (II) Admit Card 2018)
Three weeks before the examination on 9 September, 2018, candidates shall be issued their admit cards online (e-Admission certificate) i.e. it will be available for download by the candidates. The NDA NA admit cards will not be sent by post. It will be made available on the UPSC website, www.upsc.gov.in.
In order to download your NDA NA (II) 2017 admit card online, you will need the following information ready with you:
- RID (registration ID) & Date of Birth or Roll Number
- Your Name
- Father's name
