Overview ICAR AICE

Indian Council of Agricultural Research conducts All India Competitive Examination for admissions to Under-Graduate Programmes in Agriculture and allied Sciences other than Veterinary Science and also for the award of National Talent Scholarships.

The entrance test is conducted for admissions to 15% of the seats in 39 State Agricultural Universities, CAU, Imphal, NDRI (all seats) and Central Universities having Agriculture faculty namely BHU, Viswa Bharti and Nagaland University for U.G. Degree (B.Sc./B.Tech./B.F.Sc. etc.) in the subjects of Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Forestry, Food Science, Fisheries Sciences, Home Science, Sericulture, Agricultural Marketing Banking & Co-operation, and Commercial Agriculture & Business Management.

Scholarship

National Talent Scholarship of Rs. 1000/- per month is awarded to all those candidates who takes admission in any of the 41 in institutions on the basis ICAR’s All India Competitive Examination. The purpose of award of scholarship is the promotion of agricultural education in the country.
