NERIST 2012 Test Pattern
NERIST NEE-II : NEE-II is an objective type test of 150 marks and three hours duration. The test will be conducted at various centres located in the eight states of North-East. For every wrong answer to a question 25% (¼th) of the marks carried by the question will be deducted from the aggregate marks obtained by the candidate.
Scheme of NEE II : The Pattern of questions for students who have completed 10+2 with PCM/PCB/PCMB
There will be three sections - Section A, B and C.
The subjects and distribution of marks shall be as given below
Section A (Physics) : 45 marks
- 25 questions of 1 mark each
- 10 questions of 2 marks each
Section B (Chemistry) : 45marks
- 25 questions of 1 mark each
- 10 questions of 2 marks each
Section C (Mathematics) : 60 marks
- 30 questions of 1 mark each
- 15 questions of 2 marks each
