| I have completed my BSc microbiology and want to do MS in biotechnology in the US, now some of the consultants told me US universities no longer demand 12+4, its 12+3 now. while some say that for the 4th year students from india used to do DMLT or diploma , which was a one year programme but this is no longer accepted and the rules have changed again from the past 2 months,so u need to complete one year of MSc in dia only then a student is elligle for MS. i wrote to a few universities , but havent received any reply, i need to know this very soon because i have to take a decision regarding my MASTERS very soon. hope you can provide me some good information from reliable sources as soon as possible. One more thing i need to know ABOUT scholarships for the students from india willing to study in the US. |

| Well. You have B.Sc. Microbiology, but haven't mentioned of how many years 3 / 4? I am supposing it as 3.
Yes, rules are relaxed now and universities may offer a seat to a 12 + 3 candidate if he / she shows competitiveness to complete the coursework. For exclusive admission details you must require contacting university officials or their channels spread worldwide. Write to admission officer of the university you must get response. I never believe that you have written to a couple of universities and you have not got responses, may be you have written to wrong authorities. I am figuring out so many errors in your forum post, even typographical errors, a must NO for a US based institution, when writing for them don't make mistakes. Which exam you have cleared you have not mentioned here? This is a must to answer your querry. Develop good habits of writing instead of writing in sms language. Large number of scholarships are there for promising candidates however in most of the cases candidates require loan scholarships and part time work etc to meet the study cost. As free scholarships are provided to exceptionally briliant students. For information about Universities and Colleges in US please visit our dedicated website at http://www.usaeducation.us Depending upon your location you can visit nearest USEFI office for help. Any further discussion is always welcome.
Wishing you best of luck. |
