GCET 2017 Eligibility Critera

You must be Indian to be eligible to appear for GCET 2017 which is Goa's Common Entrance Test, and should have passed twelfth grade from Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Education, or an equivalent examination.

Applicants to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses should be at least 17 years old this year. No age limits have been specified for applicants to other courses.

GCET 2017 Score: If you're applying to MBBS and BDS courses, you need to have obtained a minimum GCET 2017 score of 50% (40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PH applicants.) aggregate in specified subjects. No minimum limit in GCET 2017 score is mentioned for other courses.



An applicant for Degree Course in Architecture must have appeared and obtained valid score at NATA conducted by Council of Architecture.

The eligibility criteria vary slightly according to the course you apply for:

MBBS, BDS, BHMS: You should have passed class 12th with English, scoring at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only and 45% for applicants belonging to PH category for MBBS and BDS Course).

B.E.: You should have passed class 12th with English, Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, scoring at least 45% marks in the aggregate of  Physics & Mathematics with one of the following subjects Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

B.Pharm: You should have passed class 12th with English, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science /Biology, scoring at least 45%* marks in the aggregate of subjects of Physics & Chemistry with one of the following subjects Mathematics/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology. (40% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC only).

Important: According to Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) Regulations, if you have passed your Senior Secondary School examination conducted by National Open School, New Delhi, then you are not approved/eligible for admissions to B. Pharm.

B.Arch: You should have passed class 12th with Mathematics, scoring at least 50% marks (45% for the applicants belonging to SC, ST and OBC)
or
You should have passed 10+3 Diploma (any stream) recognised by Central/State Governments with 50% aggregate marks.
or
You should have obtained an International Baccalaureate Diploma, after 10 years of schooling, scoring at least 50% marks in aggregate and with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in your examination.

Applicants scoring minimum 80/200 at NATA can also apply for B.Arch., provided that you get your NATA score before last date of submission of admission form (i.e. 8 April, 2017).
