Post Graduate Programme in Management
RGIIM offers Post-Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) which is of two years duration. This is a full time residential course and graduate students from all disciplines are eligible to apply.
The Institute envisages for its flagship programme, namely, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM), an annual student intake capacity of 60 in the first year. This is planned to be subsequently increased up to 120 in the third year and 180 in the sixth year.
Eligibility
Indian graduates from any discipline should apply with their CAT scores. The final selection of candidates will be made on the basis of interviews and group discussions, which will be held at Shillong some time in the month of February / March 2008. For details on CAT, click here.
Candidates of foreign countries should apply with their GMAT scores. The score should not be older than two years as on January 15, 2008. The second stage comprises interviews and group discussions, which will be held in India, some time in February / March 2008.
Award of Diploma
On successful completion of the programme, the participants will be awarded the "Pos Graduate Diploma in Management".

Besides the Post Graduate Programme, the Fellow Programme in Management and Management Development Programmes, the Institute plans to focus on:
Management Development Programmes
IIM Shillong is delighted to announce its Maiden Management Development Programmes’ Calender for the year 2009-10. The IIM Shillong MDP programme provides an environment of high academic ambience to mould minds of corporate/Govt officers and make them capable of welcoming the challenges of the future with vigor.

Fellow Programme in Management
Besides the Post Graduate Programme, the Fellow Programme in Management and Management Development Programmes, the Institute plans to focus on:
- Setting up a Human Resource Development Centre for States.
- Catering to multiple markets.
- Nodal point in tackling the problems facing both management education and industry in North East.
- Tourism and hospitality management.
- Management of Tele services and Tele medicine.
- Management of information systems and technology.
- Subjects of local relevance such as horticulture, hydel power, etc.

IIM Shillong organized Season II of the IIM Shillong Golf Cup at the Shillong Golf Course, Asia’s oldest 18 hole course, on 5th and 6th December 2009.

Asia’s oldest 18 hole course, on 5th and 6th December 2009. The tournament boasted of students from 9 major B-schools including IIM A, IIM L, IIM C, ISB, FMS.
