IIM Udaipur

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur, Rajasthan is one of the Eight IIMs added to the IIMs family as per the announcement made by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry in 2008.

Spread over 253 acres of land in Balicha area of Udaipur, Rajasthan, IIM Udaipur has become operational from 2011. Prof.Janat Shah is the director and Mr.C.K Birla holds the chairmanship at IIM Udaipur.

With the best faculty and infrastructure, IIM Udaipur aims at producing the best managers in the world to lead the Indian economy. Continuous research and training programs in collaboration with other institutes, IIM Udaipur aims at touching new standards in the field of Managerial studies.

IIM Udaipur Location

Temporarily IIM Udaipur is located in the Polymer Science Building, Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur, Rajasthan. The official campus is under construction covering 253 acres of land in Balicha, Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Udaipur is also known as the ‘Venice of the East’. Surrounded by beautiful lakes and historical palaces, Udaipur is one of the major tourist destinations in India. It is located in western India and falls on the national highway 8. Udaipur is well connected by air, land and rail to the rest of the major cities.

It offers a perfect blend of culture and modernism by showcasing the ancient culture of the region with the dominant hospitality industry and growing education sector.
