Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)
The entrance examination is conducted for admission to the
Undergraduate programs for Indian and Foreign nationals at Indian
Institute of Technology (IITs), Institute of Technology - Beneras Hindu
University (IT-BHU) and Indian School of Mines- ISM-Dhanbad. The exam
is conducted every year by any one of the IITs as directed by the IIT

Joint Admission Test to M.Sc.(JAM)
Joint Admission Test to M.Sc.(JAM) is conducted by the Indian Institute
of Technologies – IITs for admission to Master of Science ( M.Sc.) and
other post–B.Sc. programmes offered at the 7 different Indian
Institutes of Technology (IITs). In a given academic year, any one of
the 7 IITs take the responsibility for the conduct of JAM test. For

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an All-India Examination
conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the
seven Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Admission to ME and

Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET)
Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is one of the most sought after MBA
entrance examination among the engineering students in India, popularly known as
JMET. Joint Management Entrance Test (JMET) is the first step in the process of
seeking admission to the 2-Year full time Post-Graduate Degree Programs in

Research & Fellowship Test
Admission is offered on the basis of an interview held usually
a month before the commencement of the semester for which admission is
sought. The interview may be supplemented by a written test, if

Quality Improvement Programme
The Government of India has started Quality Improvement Programme in 1970. The IITB is one of the Centers for Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) along with other IITs, IISc and many other institutions. The programme is administered by AICTE.
