Admission of International Candidates

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) offers admission to candidates who have earned degree from an Indian University. The application of such candidates is subject to consent of Ministry of Human Resource Development and Ministry of External Affairs; Government of India.

The foreign candidates who with degree from a Foreign University shall require furnishing the GRE and TOEFL score

Foreign nationals admitted to the Institute are either sponsored under one of the Cultural Exchange Programmes by the ICCR or under the self-financing category. For the self-financing category, application forms can be obtained from the Institute.
