Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT)
The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Test (QLTT) is a conversion test; it enables lawyers who are qualified in certain jurisdictions outside England and Wales (and barristers of England and Wales) to qualify as solicitors in England and Wales. Those lawyers eligible to sit the test must be foreign lawyers or overseas lawyers qualified in jurisdictions that are recognised by the Law Society of England and Wales (The Law Society) or must be barristers qualified to practise in England and Wales. | |
