TNDALU 2012 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for 3 year Bachelor’s of Law and 5 year Bachelor’s of Law is given below:

Eligibility Criteria For 3 Year B.L. Degree Course

  • A pass in the Bachelor’s Degree Course with minimum 40% of marks in aggregate.
  • Candidates who have passed the Post-Graduate Degree under Open University system without undergoing the Bachelor’s Degree Course may also apply.
  • Those who have appeared for the final year examination of the above mentioned Degree Courses in the year of TNDALU entrance examination and awaiting results may also apply.
  • There is No age limit for admission into this course.
  • Employed candidates are not eligible to apply.
  • Candidates who have not passed qualifying examination and not received the Degree/Provisional certificate on the date of counseling are not eligible for admission to 3 year degree course.

Eligibility Criteria For 5 year B.L. Degree Course

  • A pass in the Higher Secondary ( 2) or Equivalent Examination with minimum 45% of marks in aggregate. In the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST communities, 40% of marks in aggregate.
  • Those who have appeared for the HSC or equivalent examination in the year of TNDALU entrance examination and awaiting results may also apply.
  • Employed candidates are not eligible to apply.
  • Age limit for admission: A candidate should not have completed 21 years of age as on 1st June of the year of TNDALU entrance examination. There is no age limit for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities.
  • Candidates who have not passed qualifying examination and not received the Mark statement on the date of counseling are not eligible for admission to 5 year degree course.
