Course Pattern

The NUJS follows a semester system under which the academic year is divided into two parts and five subjects are taught in each semester. As a result, a student would have studied fifty subjects when he/she completes the five year course (B.A., LL.B.). The wide spread of subjects helps a student to acquire extensive and intensive knowledge of the legal system.

Also the LL.M. program follows semester system where an academic year is divided into two parts. The first three semesters include the subjects as prescribed by the university and the fourth semester will be devoted for writing dissertation.
