School of Law, Gujrat University

The Gujarat University School of Law is one of the top 25 law schools in the country offering quality legal education to the students. The department was established in the year of 1977 with two courses in the form of LL.M Commercial Laws and Criminal Laws.



At present, the whole course curriculum of the “LLM. Program” has been restructured as per recommendation of the Curriculum Development Committee (CDC) of UGC. The school is now offering Post Graduate level study in Law in the following specializations.

1.  Environment & Legal Order
2.  Group Intellectual Property Rights

The School of Law is well equipped with infrastructure facilities including library, computer lab etc. All the faculty members have been provided with personal computers with internet facility. The library has high speed broadband internet connectivity and also sufficient numbers of books for study and research.

Programs & Eligibility

Program: LL.M. (Environment & Legal Order), LL.M. (Intellectual Property Rights)

Intake: 75 students for each program 

Eligibility: Graduates of Law (LL.B.)

Duration: Two Year

* Punjab Residents Civil Category seats will be filled through Common Entrance Test to be conducted by Punjab Govt. If there is any change, it shall be notified accordingly.
