Admission to MBA (Two-Year Full-Time) and Ph.D (Management) 2012 will be based on CAT-2011 Score (Common Admission Test conducted by Indian Institute of Management from October 22, 2011 to November 18, 2011), Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 

Applicants who have not taken CAT-2011 will not be considered for admission. At least 50 percentile score on each section of the CAT-2011 Examination is required by a candidate to be short-listed for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.

FMS Delhi 2012 Tentative Dates

• Advertisements for admission in FMS in leading newspapers would be published around September/October.
• Procure your application form from the administrative office by paying application fees. You can also download the form online through the website www.fms.edu and payment can be done through demand draft/credit card.
• Sent the completed application forms to the Administrative Officer Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi, for further processing.
• If you have submitted all the required documents and furnished all the details in the form then you would be called for a written test/interview.
• Candidates who qualify the written test would be short-listed for interview, an ex-tempore and a group discussion. The candidates will be required to produce their original certificates and mark-sheets at the time of the interview. The final list of candidates selected to the program will be announced after conducting all the interviews.

• Dates for Online registration for admission test - September first week to October second week 2011
• Opening Date of FMS Registration: 21st September, 2011
• Closing Date FMS Registration: Extended till 20th December, 2011
• Announcement of Candidates shortlisted for GD + PI round : January First Week
• Group Discussion and Personal Interview Round for shortlisted candidates Announcement of Final Results : March Second Week
• Commencement of Course : July First Week

FMS Delhi 2012 Part Time MBA Important Dates

• Dates for Online registration for admission test : September first week to October second week 2011
  
• Opening Date of FMS Registration : 21st September, 2011
• Closing Date FMS Registration : Extended till 20th December, 2011
• Dates for FMS 2012 for Part Time MBA : 3rd Week of January, 2012
• Announcement of Candidates shortlisted PI round : February Second Week

Important Points to Remember

• All candidates will have to register using Online Registration System only.
• Applicants have to appear for the CAT-2011 Examination conducted by IIMs.
• There will be no other mode of registration for admission to FMS, Delhi.
• The test will remain a paper pencil test
• It is most likely to be held in 20 centres across India like 2009
• The application fee might increase marginally from this year
• Your Acknowledgment Form should be printed and accompanied by a DD (if payment mode is DD) for the requisite registration fee, caste/category certificate (if applicable) and an additional passport-size colour photograph.
