Institute of Rural Management Jaipur is an Institute of repute that is recognized by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. IRM, Jaipur is nationally recognized as a Centre of Excellence in Management Training, Research and Education.

The institute organizes numerous short-term management training programs and research studies sponsored by Central/State Governments and the UN/International Agencies.

Application Form For IRM Jaipur 2012

If you are seeking admission in IRM you must apply in the prescribed application form, which can be obtained along with the prospectus and information bulletin from IRM office on payment of Rs.800/- in cash or by Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘Indian Institute Of Rural Management’ payable at JAIPUR. Postal requests for Application form must be accompanied by Demand Draft worth Rs.850/-

Admission Process For IRM Jaipur 2012

For admission to post graduate courses in IRM, Jaipur, you have to appear for MAT. Students who opt for IRM, Jaipur as one of the Institutes of their preference are only eligible to apply.

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their MAT scores and called for personal interview and Group Discussion and results are announced within one week of GD/PI.

IRM Jaipur 2012 Programs

Institute of Rural Management, Jaipur offers post graduate diploma programs in Management and Rural marketing that will help fill the huge demand for skilled managers in the field of rural business and marketing. The two programs are described below briefly:

Post Graduate Diploma in Management: This is a two year full time course including a summer internship program. Some of the areas that the program covers are Principles of Management, Economic Environment of Business, Managerial Economics, Organizational Behavior, Quantitative Techniques for Management Applications, Rural Research Methods, Organization & Management and Rural Economics. Seminars, group exercises and assignments are used for the program.

Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Marketing: This program started in 2007 is a Post Graduate program in Management with specialization in Rural Marketing. It is a two year full time program with students specializing in Rural Finance Management, Agribusiness Management and Retail Management. This program aims to fill the need for skilled managers in the field of marketing with a background on rural business.

Eligibility Criteria For IRM Jaipur 2012

The eligibility for both the programs is a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with not less than 50% in aggregate. You can apply even if you are in the final year provided you submit your pass certificate before the start of the session or within one month of the commencement of the session.
