CMAT 2012 - Common Management Admission Test is a standard test to assess the general aptitude of candidates for admission to various AICTE approved Management Colleges in India for post graduate management programs both at Degree and Diploma level. It is a national level exam which is approved by the AICTE.

All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) this year for the first time will conduct the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2012 as an entrance test for admission to 4,000 management colleges that offer MBA and 500 colleges which run postgraduate diploma in management programs.

The test will be conducted online for nine days from 20th to 28th February in two shifts at 61 cities/locations. The scores awarded will be used for admission in the post graduate management programs both at Degree & Diploma level, all over India for year 2012-13.

A Trial test will be available from 12th Dec onwards for the candidates to have a feel of the online test and navigation functionality. Candidates are advised to go though them carefully to familiarize themselves with the screens, layout, and navigation.

CMAT 2012 Exam Dates

Schedule of CMAT Exam 2012 is 20 Feb 2012 to 28 Feb 2012. The idea of cover around 250000 candidates all over India with CMAT Test center almost covering every cities as per requirements.

ADMIT CARD for CMAT 2012 exam can be downloaded from 5th Feb 2012, 11:00 AM onwards

CMAT a computer based All India Test is being conducted only in online mode by AICTE. The scores will be awarded to all the candidates who appear in CMAT and All India and state level merit will be prepared for admission to MBA and PGDM level management programs in AICTE approved institutions. Candidate desirous of taking admissions should apply online before 22nd January, 2012 on http://aicte-cmat.in

CMAT 2012 Preparing Tips

One of the most important tips for preparing CMAT is to have a proper time table. Aspirants should provide equal amount of time to all concerned subjects. The routine should depict the candidate’s daily routine and amount of time he is dedicating for his studies.

Collection of good study materials is also another important tip for preparing CMAT. Books related to every concerned subject should be bought before starting for preparation.

Question paper carries problems from almost every chapter. Collecting previous year’s question papers from internet / market are very helpful for the candidates.

Initially one should always try to solve easy problems and gradually increase the level of difficulty of sums.

Time management is also another very important factor to keep in mind while preparing for CMAT 2012. Set time and try to finish off the sample papers within a time limit. This will teach time management to the students.

Many coaching centres conducts mock test and mock test will provide the evaluation score card to every student. This will showcase the students’ weak and strong areas.

Last but not the least one should always be confident enough to crack the examination.

sir actualy i feel prblm in downloading admit card of cmat they told me to download any player that i forget so want to know again that which player in my computer i must download for downloading my admit card

i have mentioned a wrong email id in my registration form of CMAT.n my registration is done completly i got my id and password on my cellphone. so is it sufficient for getting printout of my admitt card in case i am not able to receive it. please help me as soon as possible
