Do you know yourself? Tell us something about yourself.

This is one of the most common MBA job interview questions and the one which we tend to take lightly. That's because we think we know ourselves well enough, and therein lies the mistake. Make sure your answers are precise, talk about your strengths and characteristics, even weaknesses. Don't focus on academic points that are already on your resume. This question is to test your communication skills and how you present yourself.

Do you know where you're headed? Where do you see yourself 5/10 years from now?

This is another important question where most people fall short. Goal clarity and vision is being tested here, so make sure you know exactly what you will be doing another 5-10 years down the road. Tell them about your aspirations and ambitions, point out how you plan on getting there. Your will to work hard and achieve what is in your mind should be seen here.

Have you done your SWOT analysis? What are your strengths & weaknesses?

SWOT analysis is a method used to assess your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities & threats in a structured manner. With such a question, the company's HR/ interview panel is trying to judge what skills you have and lack. It is a test for getting an idea about how you work, your area of expertise and how you can benefit their firm. Project your strengths in the aspect of which they can benefit the organisation that you are interviewing for. As for weaknesses, they are just the opposites of your strengths, know how to mould them in such a manner that they don't seem like a negative point at all.

Why us?

The biggest of questions, the one that will decide your future is how you answer this. Why them? If you can ace this, you are in. So practice this answer a few time, do your homework, research about the company and find out why and how it will benefit your career. Don't use frivolous flattery, but facts that will help you impress the interviewer.
