Perception management is about managing your earlier behavior in such a manner that a positive perception is created even when you had displayed your worse behaviors. Nowadays perception management techniques have become an integral part of information management systems. Perception management includes statements by policymaking officials in speeches, interviews, press conferences, or on background, as well as by diplomats in their regular representational activities or negotiations. 
Perception management- it also involves the dissemination of information by the government through press releases, publications, radio and television broadcasts. Perception management is essentially a modern management study which revolves around strong public relation management.

It has been observed that this stream of management is not much popular in India. At present there are not many institutes which are offering courses in perception management but a few institutes are offering short term courses.
