Project Management
Project management is the study of planning, classifying, and organizing assets to bring about the successful completion of the project. Project management includes developing a project plan, which includes identifying and validating the project objectives and purpose, classifying tasks and planning how the goals can be achieved, quantifying the assets, determining the budget. Project management also includes the implementation of the project plan, along with operating regular 'controls' to ensure that there is accurate information on 'performance' relative to the plan, and the mechanisms to implement recovery actions wherever necessary.
| Project Management is time and again closely related to and sometimes even merged with program management. |
