Established in 1984, T. A. Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) is one of the finest management institutes in India, recognized by the AICTE. TAPMI was among the first management institutes in the country to receive recognition from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) for its management programs.
The Institute is a member of the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS). The Post Graduate Program of TAPMI is recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to MBA Degree.
The graduating students of TAPMI are able to adapt and integrate themselves with the employing organizations more fully and more readily.
TAPMI launched its new eGovernance Program for Executives (eGPX) in collaboration with the National Institute for Smart Government [NISG], Hyderabad, on the 6th of April 2009, with 31 participants from government and corporate sectors.
Today, over 1900 TAPMI alumni hold responsible managerial positions in India and abroad.

- Reporting at TAPMI on 30th June 2012 to join PGDM 2012
TAPMI 2012 Admission Process
TAPMI has adopted a two stage process for admitting candidates to the PGP.
- You have to qualify CAT 2011/GMAT 2012/XAT 2012/GRE 2011 and have good scores to be selected for the next stage of admission process.
- Based on scores in CAT/GMAT/XAT/GRE and academic excellence, work
experience, extra curriculars and clarity of purpose candidates are
short-listed and invited for GD/PI held at Manipal.
Note: The final selection will be based on TAPMI admission guidelines.
