TAPMI has a placement secretariat, comprising of the Placement Chairman, a secretary and a placement committee. The Chairman of the placement secretariat is a senior faculty of the Institute. The secretary and a placement committee of students support the placement chairman.
 
The placement secretariat assists organizations by providing necessary information and logistic support. It is also responsible for coordinating with the companies and inviting them to the campus for placements. Tasks like making available the resumes of the batch available, communicating the guidelines and dates to the companies & providing assistance in organizing accommodation for during placements are handled by the team.

For the past few years students of TAPMI are gaining tremendous success in getting jobs in the industry for their talent and expertise. In 2007 the average salary offered was Rs. 6.66 lakhs, an increase of 16% over the previous year. The highest salary was Rs. 9.25 lakhs as compared to Rs.7.75 lakhs in Placement 2006.
