K. J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research

K.J. Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research (SIMSR) was established in 1981 to serve theneeds of management and research for the society. The institute is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA.

It has created an environment of freedom and excellence where students under the guidance of faculty, hone their management skills. SIMSR is housed in a spacious campus with a built up area of about 1 lakh square feet. The infrastructure includes air-conditioned classrooms and discussion rooms, a large library, a seminar hall, an audio-visual (AV) room, a well-equipped computer lab, MDP Centre, auditorium and conference centre, and a well equipped hostel for boys and girls.

Eligibility

Graduation with minimum 50% marks and for Ph.D Post Graduation in Business Managemen(Full-Time)
Graduate with 2 years experience in executive / supervisory position(Part- Time)                                                                                 
 
Admission Procedure

Admission is done on the basis of Common Admission Test (CAT conducted by IIMs), followed by written communication test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
 
Placement

The placement record of SIMSR has been exemplary. There has been a consistence record of hundred percent placements. Placements at institute are handled by students. Some of the important recruiters are Infosys, Coca- Cola. Kotak, Philips, Oracle etc
