Application Forms Now Available

 The JEMAT 2016 admit card is available for download from today, September 21. Applicants need to login with their application number and password and download the admit card online (http://jemat.eadmissions.net/StudentLogin.aspx). JEMAT (Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test) is a state level entrance exam conducted by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology). This entrance test is conducted every year for admission to MBA/MHS/ AICTE approved Post Graduate Diploma programs offered by the government and private management institutes of West Bengal. The JEMAT exam is carried out in two steps, first the candidates have to appear for a common written test and on qualifying it they need to appear for a round of personal interview and general discussion.




WB JEMAT Exam Schedule 2016

•    The  WB JEMAT 2016 exam date is 25 September, 2016
•    List of candidates SELECTED FOR General discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) to be declared on- 26 September, 2016
•    The GD/PI  will be held on- 28 and 29 September 2016


JEMAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The minimum qualification for admission to MBA/ MMA/ MHA/ AICTE approved PG Diploma programmes is a Bachelors Degree in Arts / Science/ Commerce/ Engineering/ Technology/ Medical/ Dental/ Agriculture or other Professional Courses from recognised Universities. The candidates who will appear in final year examination (Graduation) may also apply.


JEMAT 2016 Fees Structure

Candidates need to pay by drawing a demand draft from any nationalized bank in favour of “MAKAUTWB-JEAMAT II” payable at Kolkata and send it alone with the printed and signed online application.
•    Fees for General category: Rs. 600/-
•    Fees for SC/ST/OBC category: Rs. 300/-


JEMAT 2016 Exam Pattern

The written test for JEMAT Exam 2016 will have a 100 marks paper consisting of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) that has to be answered in 2 hours. For every wrong answer ,there will be a deduction of 0.25 marks. The exam pattern will be as follows:

General English

40 questions

40 marks

Mathematics

40 questions

40 marks

Logical Reasoning

20 questions

20 marks


JEMAT 2016 Tentative Result and Counselling Dates

The tentative date for publication of result for JEMAT-II 2016 is September 30. Counselling for selected candidates will be held between 1 to 6 October.
