IIM Bangalore's EPGP Ranked Among Top 50 in Global Rankings
Bangalore: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore's EPGP, i.e. Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management is ranked among the top 50 in the world according to the recently released Global Rankings by Financial Times for the year 2017.
IIM Bangalore's Executive Post Graduate Programme now holds the 49th position in the FT Global Rankings having shot up 13 places to secure this position. Other Business Schools that feature in this list are INSEAD, Standford Graduate School of Business, Harvard Business School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), University of California at Berkeley, etc.

The ranking is derived from the Business Schools surveys and their alumni as well. Alumni's career graph, the ideas put forth by the Business School, and the diversity of the faculty and students at the Business School are some of the factors on which the ranking is done. This particular Global Ranking features the best full-time MBA programmes in the world.
The Director In-charge of IIMB, Professor R. Srinivasan said, "The credit goes to all faculty colleagues who, as part of the EPGP and Admissions Interview committees, recruit a high-calibre cohort for the programme and as professors put them through a demanding learning experience in their course offerings."
The Chairperson of the programme, Professor U. Dinesh Kumar added, "The EPGP Office ensures a high level of support to all students throughout the programme year while the Career Development Services (CDS) strives to match every student's expectations with recruiters' specific demands."
The Chairperson of Alumni Relations, Professor Vasanthi Srinivasan said that their office has been working and engaging with the EPGP alumni on a continuous basis and their efforts are paying off now.
