IIM Kozhikode - 100% placement recorded for the Post Graduate Programme for 2017

IIM Kozhikode records 100% placement


IIM Kozhikode concluded the final placement for its 19th batch of the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) in Management. It recorded 100% placement.

There was a significant rise in the placements this year with 15.15%. 334 students and 107 recruiters participated in the placement process as per the notification released by IIM Kozhikode on Friday.

A lot of first time recruiters were also seen participating in the placement drive this season and niche roles and profiles were offered to students as well.

The highest salary offered per year stands at Rs. 37 lakh and the average annual remuneration stands at Rs. 17.14 lakh this year.

Major recruiters such as Accenture Strategy, BCG, Deloitte, Ernest & Young, Goldman Sachs, JPMC, McKinsey, PwC were present at the campus placement process and 26 first time recruiters that included Aspect Ratio, Evanssion, Feedback Infra, Infosys Management Consulting, Kalyan Group, Korn Ferry Hay Group and Microland, participated in the placement drive.

26% of the candidates were offered jobs in major companies such as American Express, Axis Bank, Bank of America, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Edelweiss, Fidelity, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, JP Morgan Chase, Nomura, Standard Chartered, Yes Bank.

Candidates were offered jobs in General Management profile by major recruiters like Bosch, Evanssion, Kalyan Group, Mahindra Group, Mytrah, RPG, Tata Administrative Services, Tata Communications.
