IIM Lucknow to conduct CAT 2017 after 7 years gap
After conducting CAT 2016 successfully, IIM Bengaluru has given the responsibility to Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, to conduct CAT 2017. The examination is conducted every year for MBA admissions in 19 IIMs and 150 other institutes. This year, it will be conducted in October and November, 2017. Professor Neeraj Dwivedi has been appointed as the CAT 2017 convener. He is presently the chairperson, admissions and is a faculty of strategic management at IIML.

IIML will be conducting CAT this year after a gap of seven years. It had earlier conducted CAT in 2010 with Professor Himanshu Rai, faculty of Human Resource Management as the convener. In 2015, IIM Ahmedabad conducted the CAT while in 2014 and 2013, IIM Indore organized CAT.

IIML is likely to introduce a few changes in the exam structure this year. The schedule of CAT 2017 will be announced by July end. Registrations will continue till October 2017 and the exam will be held in November/December 2017.Around 2.50 lakh MBA aspirants register for the test every year.
