About the Scholarship

Dr. G.Bakthavathsalam Academic Scholarships Foundation Offers High School Students Significant Awards for College studies. The Scholarship fund provides up to Rs. 20.13 lakhs for students opting for MCA/B. Sc. educational programs in an academic year.

The Dr G Bakthavathsalam Academic Promise Scholarship program provides students up to Rs.60, 000 for three years of full-time college study. The scholarship is provided for eligible students opting for educational programs at KG College of Arts and Science (KG-CAS) and KGISL Institute of Information Management (KGISL-IIM).

Scholarship Highlights

The Dr G Bakthavathsalam Academic Scholarship will offer eligible scheduled caste/scheduled tribe (SC/ST) students up to Rs.20, 000 per year for three years amounting to a total of Rs.60, 000 towards their MCA education at KGISL Institute of Information Management (KGISL-IIM) - giving more students the chance to pursue their goals.

To be eligible, the student must join the Institute through the counseling to be conducted by the Directorate of Collegiate Education. KGISL-IIM charges a fee of Rs.30, 000 per year for the MCA program as prescribed by the University.

The Dr GB Academic Scholarship will offer academically proficient students up to a total of Rs.9, 600 for pursuing various under-graduate programs (B. Sc. Computer Science, BCA, B. Com., and B. Sc. Mathematics) at KG College of Arts and Science.
