Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age: Below 35 years
2. Academic:
   • Master's
     • First class or 60% marks or equivalent grade in relevant Bachelor’s degree and 2 years work experience in the field
   • Doctoral
     • First class or 60% marks or equivalent grade in relevant Master’s degree and 2 years Teaching/ Research/ Professional experience/ MPhil degree in concerned field
   • Postdoctoral
     • First class or 60% marks or equivalent grade in relevant Master’s degree, PhD and 5 years Teaching/ Research/ Professional experience in the concerned field

Scholarship Details:

1. Number of Scholarships: 20
2. Duration: 1 year – 3 years
3. Value:
   Postdoctoral, PhD, Master’s
   US$ 8200 pa
   Pound Sterling 5200 pa in UK
4. Contingency Grant: A maximum of US$ 550 pa
5. Others: Equipment allowance, incidental journey expenses, medical insurance etc.
6. Travel Grant: Economy Class return air passage and shortest route in arrangements with the national carrier, is provided

Application Procedure: The scheme is advertised in the newspapers giving summarized information about the scheme. The candidates shall after assessing their eligibility, as per conditions of the scheme, apply to this Ministry in the prescribed application form which will from part of advertisement. Employed candidates must send their employer in case of final selection, the employed awardees has to sort out all administrative matters like study leave, salary etc. with his/ her employer
