Eligibility Criteria:

Academic:
The candidate must have completed tertiary education in English Medium
1. & 2. Bachelors Degree in the subject field with a minimum of 55% marks in Humanities and Social Science Group and a minimum of 60% marks in Medical and, Engineering and Technology, Science and Agriculture Group
1. Masters in the subject field with a minimum of 55% marks in Humanities and Social Science Group and a minimum of 60% marks in Engineering and Technology, Science and Agriculture Group
Other:
The candidate should be
- undertake the IELTS if her/his mother tongue is not English
- be an Indian national

Scholarship Details:

Number of Scholarships: 22-28
Duration:
Masters
2 years
Doctoral
Maximum of 4 years
Value:
- Approved tuition and examination fees
- Personal maintenance allowance
- Grant towards the preparation of thesis ot dissertation
- Travel grant for domestic travel
- Approved medical expenses
- One-time arrival allowance including a clothing grant for scholars from tropical countries
- Field work grant where necessary
- Spouse and children allowance for married scholars selected for awards exceeding 12 months
Passage Cost: Economy class return airfare

Application Procedure: Application should be sent in the prescribed format along with the necessary documents

Notification & Deadline: Notification in August/September Deadline as per the notification
