PG Engineering and Technology Scholarship

The L & T Build India Scholarship is a unique initiative in the field of engineering education, by Construction $ Real Estate Development Giant Larsen & Toubro.

Eligibility of the Award:

The L & T Build India Scholarships are awarded to engineering students of exceptional merit who are interested in acquiring an M.Tech in Construction Technology & Management from either IIT Delhi or IIT Madras.

Duration:

The duration of the scholarship is for a period of 2 years

Eligibility Criteria for the L & T Build India Scholarships:

• Candidates applying for the L & T ‘Build India Scholarships’ should be engineering graduates with a total percentage of at least 65 in either Civil or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a reputed University or Institute.
  
  
• The candidates applying for the scholarships should not be more than 23 years of age.
  
  
• Candidates should have a minimum height of 160 centimeters

Value of Scholarships:

• A monthly stipend of Rs.7, 000 for the entire period of the course.
  
  
• Sponsorship to the IIT’s by ECC (L&T Construction Division).
  
  
• Tuition fees are however not a part of the scholarship. The same will be reimbursed to the student once the student joins ECC (L&T Construction Division) as an employee after completing the course successfully.

Selection Procedure:

Candidates are selected on the basis of a written test as well as an interview conducted by the IIT in which the candidate wishes to pursue his M.Tech. The ECC is also involved in the selection process.
