External Scholarships Division - Italy Government Scholarships

Eligibility Criteria

1) Age - Preferably below 33 years

2) Relaxation - 2 years in age limit for SC/ST

3) Academic - Masters Degree in Architecture/Computer Science/ Technology with 60% marks (Conversion formula should be given where grades have been awarded)

4) Other - The candidate should

• have 2 yrs teaching/ research/practical experience after obtaining the prescribed qualification
• have knowledge of Italian language
• stay consecutively for 3 years in India after return.

Fellowship Details

1) Number of Fellowships - 20

2) Duration - 3-4 yrs

3) Value - Lire 1000000 pm (approx Rs.13000). Italian Lire 1000000 p.m. inclusive of medical insurance benefits

4) Passage Cost - To be borne by the candidate/ employer/sponsor

Selection Procedure - Application on plain paper in prescribed format with attested copies of testimonials, photograph, programme of study/ research, fitness certificate, two letters of introduction from Indian academic authorities and other documents should be submitted. Employed candidates should forward their applications through their employers.
