Eligibility Criteria

1) Age - Between 24 and 27 years

2) Relaxation - 5 years relaxable for SC/ST candidates

3) Academic
JRF - 1st Class MSc, BPharm, BVSc, BSc, (Agriculture)/ MBBS/ BE/ BTech
SRF - MPhil, MPharm, MSc, MSc (Agriculture), MD, ME, MTech
4) Qualifying Exam - UGC-CSIR/ GATE examination

Fellowship Details

1) Duration - 5 years maximum

2) Value
JRF - Rs.2700�3000 pm
SRF - Rs.3200�3500 pm
3) Contingency Grant- Rs.5000�6000 pa

4) HRA & Medical Benefits - As per the rules of the individual Institution

Application Procedure - Prescribed application forms can be availed from the contact address. A detailed research proposal, preferably approved by the supervisor and the host Institution should be sent with the application.

Selection Procedure - Short listed candidates will be called for an interview held in Mumbai. The final selection will be based on the interview. Candidates called for the interview will be eligible for Second class return rail fare.
