Madras Institute of Development Studies - Reserve Bank of India Doctoral Fellowships

Eligibility Criteria

1) Age - Preferably below 35 years

2) Relaxation - 5 years for SC/ ST

3) Academic - First or high second class Masters from a recognized University with 55% marks in Social Science Degree.

4) Other - The candidate should be registered under the supervision of one of the Institute�s faculty members.

Fellowship Details

1) Number of Fellowships - Maximum 4 at a time

2) Duration - 3 years

3) Value

For NET qualified scholars - Rs.6000 pm
For Others - Rs.5000 pm

4) Contingency Grant - Rs.12000 pa

Selection Procedure - Selection is based on qualifications, research proposal and interview.
