Bureau of Police Research and Development - Fellowships in Criminology/ Police Science/ Forensic Science

Eligibility Criteria

1) Age - Below 30 years

2) Academic

Criminology and Police Science
- Masters (with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grades) in Criminology/ Sociology/ Social Work/ Psychology/Social Anthropology/ Public Administration/ Political Science/ Law with a 2nd class Bachelors in any of the above mentioned subjects.
Forensic Science
- 1st/2nd class Master�s degree in Science

3) Qualifying Exam - UGC-CSIR

4) Other - The candidate should be registered or should register for PhD in an Indian University within 3 months of being selected for the Fellowship.

Fellowship Details

1) Number of Scholarships - 06

2) Duration - 3 years

3) Value - Rs.2500�2800 pm

4) Contingency Grant - Rs.5000 pa

5) Overhead Charges - Rs.3000 pa paid to the Host Institution
