Eligibility Criteria

1) Academic - The candidate should have made outstanding contribution to research in Philosophy or interdisciplinary areas.

2) Other - No specifications of age or official status

Fellowship Details

1) Duration - 2 years

2) Value - Rs.7300 pm

3) Contingency Grant - Rs.15000 pa

Application Procedure - The National Fellowships are awarded through nominations

Selection Procedure - The Council makes the selection from among the nominations made by the Members of the Research Council, UGC panel members on the subject of Philosophy, Presidents of Philosophical Congress for the past 10 years and such members of the RPC who are not members of the Council.
