Scholarship procedure
Candidates will be required to explain the preference of studying at a foreign university for the proposed course. The candidate will be assessed on the value of the proposal and on the potential to make a positive contribution to society and to the country.
Courses of Study
Programmes leading up to a degree at any of the leading Universities, Institutes, Centres anywhere both in India and around the world.
At present, Short-term courses are not being considered.
Subjects
Humanities, Basic Sciences, Applied Sciences, Fine Arts, Applied Arts, Management, Law, Medicine.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have completed their graduation from a UGC recognised Indian University to be eligible for the scholarships
- The scholarships are open to all Indian Citizens of either sex.
- Candidates must have a First Class degree from a UGC recognized University in India or a recognized university abroad
- They must be resident in India at the time of application or if short-listed, applicant must appear in person for the interview.
- Candidate must be below 30 years of age.
- Prior admission / offered admission to an institution is a MUST to be offered a scholarship.
- The institution concerned must be of TOP RANK only.
