ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
The ‘Teach for India Fellowship Programme’ was launched by Teach for India, a non-profit organization, that’s also a part of ‘Teach for All’, which was founded in the year 2007. ‘TFI Fellowship Programme’ seeks the most talented people, especially college graduates and working professionals who are willing to become full-time teachers in under resourced and low income schools for a period of 2 years. This intensive fellowship programme aims to solve educational inequity by offering extraordinary education for all the children. Teach for India is a platform where you can not only prove your worth as a teacher but it also gives you the opportunity to make a difference. The salary for Teach for India fellowship will be Rs. 17,500 per month. The housing alliance ranges from Rs. 5,500 to Rs.10,000, if required to move out of their home city but it will also depend on which city they are going to stay. Besides, the fellows will also be given an allowance for school supplies.

1. Any Graduate of any field can apply for Teach for India fellowship, considering the fact that the graduates are from an accredited college or university.
2. There is no age limit.
3. Candidates should be fluent in English as they will not only undergo vigorous training sessions in English but will also be placed in English medium schools.
The following dates are for the TFI Fellowship application deadlines:
• Deadline 1: Tuesday, August 30th, 2016, 10:00 PM IST.
• Deadline 2: Tuesday, October 25th 2016, 10:00 PM IST.
• Deadline 3: Tuesday, December 13th 2016, 10:00 PM IST.
• Deadline 4: Tuesday, February 7th 2017, 10:00 PM IST.

Fellowship programs are well-known for their dedication to the professional development of individuals, hence it includes intensive training. After applying, the TFI interview has a selection process that takes place into three segregated levels.
• Level 1
After submitting an application, the applicants will take 1.5 hour long online test known as AMCAT (Aspiring Minds Computer Adaptive Test). The test primarily deals with English language skills and logical reasoning. Candidates must complete this test within four days from the date of the submission of application form.
• Level 2
After clearing the AMCAT Test, the candidates move on to Level 2. This will be a telephonic conversational round, where the candidates will be asked a few questions immediately followed by some follow-up questions that will be required to gain additional information.
• Level 3
The candidates will be invited for the third and the final level if they have successfully cleared the previous two levels. In this round, the candidate will be needed to teach a 5 minute lesson. They will also take part in a short problem solving activity and will also join in for a group discussion. The staff members will also conduct a 1 hour interview.
