My Sister

I have a little sister
Nikita is her name
She is very very naughty
I can get that framed.
She is 5 years old
but behaves like a grandmother
She has no respect at all
for a 9 year old brother.
She pulls my hair
runs away with my books
When i complain to my mummy
she gives cute cute looks.
I hate all the people
who say she looks like me
I wish she learns fast
to behave like me.

She is not dead

She is not dead- but only flying higher,
Higher than she's flown before,
And earthly limitations
Will hinder her no more.
There is no service ceiling ,
Or any fuel range.
And there is no anoxia
Or need for engine change.
Thank God that now her flight can be
To heights her eyes had scanned ,
Where she can race with comets ,
And buzz the rainbow's span.
For she is universal,
Like courage , love and hope ,
And all free , sweet emotions
Of vast and godly scope.
And understand a pilot's fate
Is not the thing she fears,
but rather sadness left behind ,
Your heartbreak and your tears.
So all you loved ones , dry your eyes,
Yes it is wrong that you should grieve ,
For she would love your courage more,
And she would want you to believe,
She is not dead .
You should have known
That she is only flying higher,
Higher than she's ever flown.

Dinner out

We went to a little cafe'
just off the campus
to have  a quiet dinner together,
the college students there
eating , discussing deep philosophical issues.
You sat at our table
looking suave and debonair in jeans and turtle neck, your tousled hair shinning ,
your eyes sparkling , full of mischief.
And you worked your charms
on me and everyone around .
The waitress doted on you,
your cup always filled
"An extra napkin ? Certainly!"
"More crackers for your soup ? Of course!"
You flirted notoriously with her
and with the hostess as well ,
Flashing seductive grins at them,
inviting them to talk ,
eating only the fringes of your meal.
T
wice you left our table
to walk around
and spread your charms elsewhere,
stopping at a table or two, grinning broadly , flirtatiously,
soliciting conversation.
I watched you capture their hearts .
and knew you had taken mine,
as I sat quietly observing.
Finally , folding my dinner napkin patiently
and placing it beside my plate,
I knew it was time to go ,
and walking up to you I said,
"Let's say good-bye".
And picking you up , I placed you
in your stroller, and as we left,
you waved profusely at everyone,
after your first dinner with Grandma,
when you were only two.

God called me but I was too busy.
I had work to do, money to make, cars to buy,
no time left.
God waited.
He called me again, but I had children to clothe,
house to paint, boat to ride,
no time left.
God waited.
God called me again, but I had been gone so long,
I had so much guilt:
how could He forgive me?
God waited.
God called me one more time.
I whispered, "How can You love me?
How can you want me?
How much do you love me?"
He spread out His arms and showed me...

Time

Imagine there is a bank which credits your account each morning with $86,400, carries over no balance from day to day, allows you to keep no cash balance, and every evening cancels whatever part of the amount you had failed to use during the day.

What would you do?
Draw out every cent, of course.
Well, everyone has such a bank. Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose.
It allows no overdraft.
Each day it opens a new account for you.
Each night it burns the records of the day.
If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours.
There is no going back.
There is no drawing against the "tomorrow".
You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost

 in health, happiness, and success.

The clock is running. Make the most of today...

STARS

I wait  eagerly
for the sunset,
when the eternal  rays of light ,
are extinguished by the cool ocean.

Then one by one ,
my lifelong friends come out to play,
they shine like a gold mine,
waiting to be discovered ,
They beckon me forward and  whisper
come to play.....
come to play.......
Then they pull me into my imaginary world ,             A world of peace ,
A world of silence ,
Like  a mother, they take care of me,
Like a friend they talk to me
My best friend is the Dipper,
who always teaches me
etiquette,
After him comes the orion ,
who teaches me to be brave,
and not to cower,
before my fate
The evil snake ,
slithers into my garden of Eden ,
and tries to pollute my happiness,
Orion tries in vain,
to destroy the beast,
But  like  a mouse before a cat,
He admits defeat make way...... make way......      Here comes the moon,
the ruler of the night sky ,
He destroys  the reptile ,
and restores peace ,
we cheer and chant ,
for happiness
We play through the night ,
have fun and frolic,
I forget my sadness ,
my ailments
And forgive those ,
who have hurt me,
by the serenity of my world.....
by the happiness of my world ....
But then the dreaded moment comes ,                   The extinguished ball of fire,
is re-lit and I part from my friends I wait eagerly, for the sunset, once again......
