To enroll in primary, secondary or high schools a residence visa is required. However, student visas are provided by all colleges and universities and also a few training institutes. It is preferable to check this before admission.
Each institution may have its own deadline for submitting applications for admission. Some institutions may require all admission procedures and fees to be paid before visa issuance procedures can be started. Visa issuance procedure normally takes 10-30 days.
The administrative expense for a student visa will amount to AED 1,500/- for a 3 years valid visa. This amount is usually paid at the time of registration. However, some institutions may include this administrative expense in their tuition fees.
