The National University of Singapore (NUS) and the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) have kicked off a number of pioneering programmes, including the broadening of undergraduate education and post-graduate education, the introduction of a core curriculum, collaborations with top foreign universities, along with the establishment of inter-disciplinary centers.
The Singapore Management University (SMU) also offers a broad-based business curriculum modeled on the similar lines of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Being autonomous, these universities can script their own course of actions hence are fully able to achieve new heights of excellence in education, research and service. These universities do receive substantial government funding.

Who didn't dream to study away from home, from parents and relatives?! I am one of them, but times are changing. Nowadays we have another type of education very useful for those who don't enough time to go to classes and study among others students: online education. So the best solution for me and my brother weremasters degree in healthcare administration online.
