XAT 2013

The XLRI Admission Test is a competitive examination conducted by Xavier Labor Relations Institute (XLRI) India for admission into management programs. Students who have completed a college degree course or undergraduate degree program of three to four years duration may write the XAT.

On the basis of the XAT score, candidates are called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Successful candidates are eligible for admission in postgraduate programs for study of management degree and diploma courses. XAT is a national level examination conducted for postgraduate management admission across India.

XAT 2013 Administering Authority XLRI Jamshedpur tests a candidate's abilities through objective type/multiple choice question type (MCQs) examination in mathematics, reasoning and English. On the basis of merit in XAT 2013, admission is offered in management programs of XLRI Jamshedpur and other institutes accepting XAT Score merit as standard.

The registration process for XAT 2013 will start from 20 August, 2012. The application fee will be Rs. 950 for General/Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates and Rs. 650 for Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) candidates.

XLRI has announced that XAT will remain a paper and pencil based test in order to ensure a fair test for all.

Ideal preparation for XAT should include frequent review of all concepts as well as a mock test written under time constraints. That will allow candidates to test themselves in a more realistic setting and improve on short-comings.

XAT 2013 Test Pattern

XAT 2013 is a competitive examination which tests the candidate's knowledge of college studies and aptitude for a management program.

The XAT includes sections on English Language, Decision Making and Quantitative Ability.

XAT 2013 Test Centers

XAT 2013 Entrance Examination shall be held across India in 43 cities and in two international cities, Dubai and Kathmandu.

XAT 2013 Online Registration

XAT 2013 is offered online for filling the application form, checking results and more. XAT 2013 aspirants can register for XAT 2013 online at the XAT website. You can complete registration and pay your fee through the site. Alternatively, you can obtain a demand draft.

XAT 2013 Offline Registration

Paper-based XAT 2013 application forms are also available. You can buy hard copies from designated XAT 2013 counters, complete the paper-based application form and send it to the XAT 2013 administering authority. XAT 2013 application forms should be available in your locality through selected bank counters.

Candidates can also request XAT 2013 application material from the XAT 2013 Office.

XAT 2013 Eligibility Criteria

College students who have completed a three- or four- year college degree course or are in the final year of an undergraduate program are eligible to appear in XAT 2013 - XLRI Admission Test.

XAT 2013 Institutes

Admission is offered in XAT 2013 member institutes and institutes using the XAT score on the basis of XAT results.

XAT 2013 Results

XAT 2013 results have been declared by XLRI Jamshedpur. For the Human Resource Management (HRM) Programme, 1,215 applicants have been shortlisted for Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The cut-offs are 85 percentile in EL, 80 percentile in DM, 70 percentile in QA and 92 overall percentile.

The Business Management (BM) Programme has a shortlist of 951 applicants. Cut-offs for BM are 80 percentile in EL, 80 percentile in DM, 90 percentile in QA and 95 overall percentile. For more information, see news on the exam, or the list of shortlisted candidates at XAT Online or XLRI.
