Established in 1993 as an Institute of Business Administration and Training (IBAT), KIIT School of Management (KSOM), Bhubaneswar, completed 23 years of operation in 2016.This institute, which is part of the KIIT University, has been recognised by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as a Grade-A category institute and is also AICTE-approved. On the basis of the Tandon Committee recommendations, KIIT University has been placed on the list of Category 'A' Deemed Universities by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The campus is spread over 35 acres and has gyms, swimming pool, tennis and volleyball court, hospital, large playground area. It has a hi-tech fully-equipped lab, state-of-art Wi-Fi-enabled and classrooms, a 500-seater in-house auditorium for industry talks, separate hostels for boys and girls and an outstanding library which is 4 floors tall with a vast collection of over 22,122 books and around 10,000 e-journals, case study collection, many national & international newspapers for ready reference.

KSOM has collaborations and academic partnerships with Dassault Systemes (DS), SAP University Alliances, SHRM India, Tech Mahindra, and National Human Resource Development Network (NHRD).

Admission Procedure

The institute has its own national level entrance exam (KIITEE Management) conducted every year. The institute also uses MAT / CAT 2016 / ATMA / GMAT/ CMAT 2015 - 2016 scores for selecting aspiring candidates. Short listed candidates are further screened through group discussion (GD) and / or personal interview (PI) at Bhubaneswar, Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore and Mumbai.
