Exam Pattern For AFMC MBBS Admissions
AFMC no longer conducts its own medical entrance exam. Admission to the MBBS program offered at AFMC, Pune, India is done through AIPMT exam (conducted by the CBSE).
This is followed by a "Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR)" (conducted by AFMC) and a Psychological Assessment-cum-Interview at AFMC, Pune.
Exam Pattern for "Test of English Language, Comprehension, Logic and Reasoning (ToELR)"
AFMC's own exam, the ToELR, will be a a half hour (30 mins) long, CBT (Computer Based Test) with 40 multiple choice questions (MCQs) of 2 marks each. There will be negative marking of 0.5 for every incorrectly answered question. You will be tested on your english language skills, comprehension as well as your reasoning and logical faculties.
Your ToELR marks will be added to your AIPMT 2014 score (max of 720) to get a score out of 800. This will be divided by 4 to get your "written examination score" out of 200.
Your psychological test-cum-interview will be for 50 marks.
Your final merit will be based on the Final score= Written examination score + Interview marks.
